This image makes me think of yarn and this time of year!
By now, you know that I like bright colors. And, I hope someone else (perhaps, in a nursing home) will enjoy them in this shoulder wrap that I am crocheting for my charity knitting/crocheting group. It will be about 20 inches from the neck edge down. I am using yarn that is remaining from some other projects that I have made or that I am still working on. I am going to crochet a simple edging with variegated yarn. I started it already to see if I like it and I do. Also I will make some short string ties for the top front closure.

By the way, the Tudor and Baroque Afghan - see - http://everydaydelight09.blogspot.com/2009/09/tudor-and-baroque.html that I have been knitting for the group is finished except for weaving in the ends. I will take a photo soon.
I am not sure if I have a favorite between knitting and crocheting. I really do enjoy both. But, I think crocheting is faster and I understand that it takes less yarn. Do you have a favorite?
I hope you are having a Warm and Cozy day.
