Blue Baubles

This is a little twist to embellishing a neck scarf.  I added beads to just one edge instead of both. My thinking behind this is that there are less dangles to get twisted. If they are on both ends you could possibly "get so tangled up that you would never get out of the neck scarf"!

The pattern for this scarf is Crest of the Wave Scarf by Judith Jacobs. It is a nice pattern that is easy to remember.  There are twelve rows with only one row that has pattern stitches. The other rows are either purl or knit. And, most rows are knit rows. The twelve rows are repeated until you have the desired length. The stitch pattern is more visible if you click the top photo to enlarge.

I made my scarf quite long and the blue looks nice with a long sleeved crisp white shirt and blue jeans!  Try it. It is a nice combination. Enjoy.

Have a Great Day.
